Kelly Fondren has been with the Office of the General Counsel since September 2017. Kelly moved from the Seattle area to attend the University of Oregon, where she obtained her degree in political science in 2013. During her final year at the university, she began her career in the legal field working at a local law firm specializing in personal injury and bankruptcy. She focused on working with the litigation department and reception before moving on to assisting the firm’s bankruptcy attorney where she was responsible for the operations of that department. From there, she worked at a Eugene firm specializing in real estate, business law and estate planning. Since joining the Office of the General Counsel, Kelly’s work has focused on assisting the office with litigation, records requests and subpoenas, and employment law.
In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her son, hiking, backpacking, skiing and getting outside as much as possible.
In the general counsel’s office, Kelly supports attorneys Doug Park, Bryan Dearinger and Jeslyn Everitt.
